Caltex™ Havoline® ambassador and Baguio-based fighter Mark Striegl dominated the Bulgarian Sotir Kichukov as they faced off in the cage at ONE: Age of Domination at the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay last December 2.
Striegl was in excellent fighting form, showing his formidable power as he faced Kichukov who has a record of 15 wins, 12 by way of submission and three by decision. Throughout the three-round fight, Striegl was able to take the Bulgarian fighter down multiple times after trying to bring the fight to an end through a submission. Kichukov also showed tremendous skill, but he failed to deter the beating Striegl brought to him.Striegl won by way of unanimous decision.

He went into battle confident of his priming, noting that he was all set even days before the match. Their intense face-off preceded the headline bouts between Fernandes and McLaren and Vera and Sekine, setting the tone for the main event.
“It has been a year since my last fight. For the past few months, I’ve been dedicated to training hard and I sure have grown a lot. Before the fight, I was at top condition and I was definitely geared up to face Kichukov,” said Striegl.How he has performed in his action-packed bout against Kichukov reflects how his success as one of the up and coming MMA heroes in the world is born of the discipline, endurance, and fighting spirit that he has developed over years of rigorous training.
